Cloud has Diminished various hurdles in Enterprise Mobility

Internet of Things has taken a center stage since the time connected devices and enterprise mobility came into mainstream business world. Several frameworks and applications are being worked upon by developers to provide industry best solutions to streamline enterprise workflows. With the emergence of cloud computing, the management of data has become convenient. But the technology of cloud has to be integrated with enterprise mobility in a way that all essential applications can be accessed by employees in a seamless manner.

Cloud is the practice of storing and managing data over remote servers than actually saving the data on a local server or a personal computer. Mobile Cloud computing has emerged tremendously in the past few years. An application can now be accessed from anywhere as location constraints have taken a back seat. This adaptability was slow to be realized in the enterprise ecosystem. With the growing need of mobility, legacy processes are being streamlined with the ongoing technological advancements. Cloud is playing major role in this scenario and hence the major setbacks that arise with it needs to be resolved.

Security lapse amidst all the setbacks, is the most hazardous. Many concerns like data being accessed by unauthorised party, shared resources on cloud being accessed from elsewhere are major hurdles to progression of cloud technology in enterprise solutions. Official data needs to be used, analysed and manipulated within the company premises. Even if the data is being accessed elsewhere it must be used by authorized party. The need of the hour is to have effective cloud provider that can minimize all security leaks.

Data protection, along with security lapse is also a growing concern. ISO 9001 imposes enough restrictions on the enterprises but with constant data sharing across company workplace, threat to data is always prevalent. Performance and uptime are also affected in certain cases. The complete market reputation of the enterprise can be at stake if the site or data regarding the enterprise is not easily accessible to the relevant users. The biggest challenge to cloud computing is not the efficient infrastructure but how well the infrastructure is operated. SaaS ( Software as a Service ) that basically includes email, word processing, file sharing etc., is also compromised due to low data security. Hence the need to have effective infrastructure that lays stringent measures while carrying out data transaction.

Enterprise mobility in the cloud is the emerging technology that has facilitated data transaction and data storage immensely. Without cloud, enterprise mobility cannot step ahead. Several Enterprise mobility solutions are already in use and several are down the line. With the deployment of multiple resources to create apps for the enterprises, the envisioned world of Internet of Things is not far from reality. According to recent reports, nearly 81 percent of enterprises are already using cloud services. With the rising usage of smartphones, tablets and wearable devices in the workplaces, this percentage is bound to increase. Cloud is immensely beneficial as it integrates the enterprise architecture with latest enterprise solutions. Resolving these core areas will take mobility to a higher strata, hence benefiting enterprises in every possible manner .
